I put my chainsaw down on top of that huge box elder to pull some brush away and knocked my saw right into the river. Miraculously, I got it started again sans air filter, but when I made the cut that left the stump in the state shown above, the huge chunk that fell off sent a tidal wave into my chest waders and snuffed out my saw. I was able to get it started a few days later and returned to finish cleaning up that stump.
